Building Systems That Scale
My path to strategic UX leadership began with a foundation most designers don't have: 16 years in traditional design across print, environmental graphics, and advertising. This early experience taught me that great design isn't just about aesthetics—it's about solving complex problems within real-world constraints.
When the digital revolution reshaped our industry, I didn't just adapt—I thrived. I've spent the last 15+ years mastering the intersection of user experience, technical feasibility, and business strategy. From startup agility to enterprise complexity, I've learned that the most impactful design work happens when you understand both the human need and the system that serves it.
Strategic Evolution
Early Career (1992-2010): Built design fundamentals across diverse industries, learning to balance creative vision with production realities and client needs.
Digital Transformation (2010-2019): Transitioned to web and digital design, developing technical skills in frontend development while maintaining strategic design thinking. Led teams, optimized processes, and consistently delivered measurable business impact.
Enterprise Leadership (2019-Present): Evolved into strategic UX roles, focusing on design systems architecture, cross-functional collaboration, and transforming complex regulatory environments into user-centered experiences.
What Drives My Work
I believe that exceptional user experiences emerge from systematic thinking, not individual genius. My approach combines:
Systems Thinking: Understanding complex relationships between people, processes, and technology to create scalable solutions rather than one-off fixes.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Building bridges between design, engineering, business, and users to ensure solutions are both visionary and viable.
Strategic Implementation: Moving beyond recommendations to real-world impact through stakeholder alignment and systematic change management.
Continuous Learning: Staying curious about emerging technologies, methodologies, and the evolving needs of both users and organizations.
Beyond the Metrics
The numbers tell one story—86% implementation rates, €2.9B ecosystem impact, 25% efficiency improvements. But the real story is about transformation: helping teams see possibilities they hadn't considered, creating systems that grow stronger with use, and building design cultures that outlast any individual project.
I've learned that the most sustainable design solutions come from understanding not just what users need today, but how organizations can evolve to serve them better tomorrow.
Currently, I'm seeking opportunities with mission-driven organizations where strategic design thinking can create lasting impact. I'm particularly drawn to complex problem spaces where systematic approaches can unlock new possibilities for users and businesses alike.
Whether you're looking to transform your design operations, navigate complex environments, or build user experiences that scale across global teams, I'd welcome the conversation.
