Transforming complexity into clarity through user-centered design.
I'm a UX Designer and Division Lead who bridges the gap between intricate business requirements and intuitive user experiences. With 15+ years evolving from traditional design through frontend development to strategic UX leadership, I bring a rare combination of creative vision, technical fluency, and systems thinking to every challenge.
My Journey
My path to UX wasn't linear—and that's become my strength.
I started in illustration and advertising, earning my BFA as a full-tuition scholar at Columbus College of Art & Design. Those foundational years taught me visual storytelling and design principles that still guide my work today.
The digital revolution drew me into frontend development, where I learned to think in systems and constraints. Building websites from scratch gave me deep empathy for developers and an understanding of technical feasibility that shapes my design decisions.
Today, as Division Lead at Rohde & Schwarz, I apply this unique background to enterprise UX challenges—transforming complex applications into experiences that users actually want to use.
What Drives Me
User advocacy in complex environments. I thrive on taking enterprise software that feels like work and making it feel intuitive. Whether it's a Customer Identity and Access Management system or a transactional product configurator, I believe every user deserves an experience that respects their time and intelligence.
Cross-functional collaboration. Some of my best work happens in workshops with Sales, HR, and Legal teams—helping non-designers understand UX principles and apply user-centered thinking to their own challenges.
Mentoring and teaching. From my early days as a student teacher to facilitating UX workshops today, I'm passionate about sharing knowledge and helping others grow.
Beyond the Screen
When I'm not designing, you'll find me:
→ Hiking somewhere under the trees near water
→ On the mat practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (problem-solving under pressure)
→ Sketching, painting, or doing something creative
→ Volunteering in my community through faith-based organizations
Let's Work Together
I'm currently exploring senior UX leadership opportunities where I can scale design impact across enterprise products and teams. If you're building user experiences that solve real problems and drive meaningful outcomes, I'd love to hear from you.
